Sinéad Lynch works full time as an Infant Feeding Co-ordinator for a Health Trust in Northern Ireland. She is a member of the National Infant Feeding Network and contributes to the N.I. Breastfeeding Strategy Work Strands. In June 2016 her article 'Breastfeeding and the Workplace' was published in a peer reviewed professional journal. She is a nurse, midwife, health visitor and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant with over thirty years experience supporting breastfeeding mothers and babies.
Breastfeeding is the gold standard in infant nutrition and the beginning of a very special relationship. In the early days and weeks some mothers encounter challenges that can often be overcome with expert support.
Specialist Breastfeeding Support Service aims to prepare pregnant mothers for the early breastfeeding challenges as well as provide affordable, accessible advice and support to breastfeeding mothers.
